About
Dr. Natasha Jordan
From Foster Care With A Purpose was born from the heart, resilience, and life experiences of a woman who refused to be defined by her circumstances—Natasha Jordan.
Natasha’s journey is one marked by adversity, perseverance, and grace. Born to a mentally ill mother, she learned early on how to care for others by first caring for her own. Though every day was a struggle, she found purpose in her pain. At the age of twelve—when many had written her off—God placed a foster mother in her life who saw the best in her, igniting the spark that would grow into a lifelong mission of hope, healing, and transformation.
Natasha has endured the weight of trauma that could have broken her—growing up in foster care, the loss of both her biological and foster mother, an unstable relationship with her father and family, disloyal friendships, depression, and more. Yet every challenge only strengthened her character, sharpened her resilience, and shaped her perspective. She emerged not as a victim, but as a visionary—a woman with the strength to rise and the courage to lead.
Her lived experience fuels her work today. From Foster Care With A Purpose is more than just an organization—it is a movement dedicated to uplifting the foster care community by giving voice to those who have felt invisible, empowering youth who have been through the system, and reminding them of their worth, potential, and power.
